The AGROCAST for July, 2019 focuses on the GameBoy Color title Pokémon Crystal.
One common thread Kris and I haven’t discussed on the podcast is our history with the Pokémon series. The series we each dug into hard and eventually just kind of… stopped playing.
Generation II has a lot of fanfare, a lot of positive memories. So what better generation to return to the franchise with than one we both hold dear. And with Crystal being the definitive edition (except for sheep-adjacent Pokémon, apparently) it seemed like the perfect place to jump in.
Will we be born-again Pokémaniacs? Will this reinvigorate our desire to sink our teeth into the series, and will the gold and silver tinted glasses hold up? Will we love chasing Raikou and Entei all over the known universe all over again? Suicune has some manners this time around.
