There are a lot of games that can’t help being saddled with comparisons to other games. RunSaber is almost invariably compared to Strider, because the similarities are readily apparent. But a game like RunSaber that revels in its own absurdity deserves to be looked at as its own entity.
I am joined as always by fellow Saber, Kris, as we delve into the scarred future Earth of RunSaber. Is it the status quo of sidescrolling 16-bit action games? Is it simply a shadow of its more popular cousin? Or is it something special in its own right?
