F-Zero X holds a very special place in my heart. It’s one of the games I played the most intently as a kid, at a time where my interest in racing titles was already at its peak. To say that I have a rosy notion of this title in my head is putting it lightly. But it’s been a while now since I last fired it up, and indeed a long time since there’s been a new F-Zero release in general (though X was recently added to Nintendo Switch Online).
I’m joined by Kris to once again push the limit of responsible driving in F-Zero X as we take a look at how it holds up and where our preferences fall in courses and machines. Does F-Zero X still excite all of these years later?
